Kudos to 2019 LIHTC, PennHomes, and PHARE Funding Recipients

Last week Governor Wolf announced awards of $41.6 million in Low-Income Housing Tax Credits and $7.7 million in PennHomes funding for construction of 39 affordable multi-family housing developments in Pennsylvania.  These monies will create or preserve 1,708 units of affordable housing.  Congratulations to the following PAHRA members on your successful proposals:

  • Luzerne County Housing Authority – Dupont Housing for the Elderly
  • Housing Development Corporation of Northumberland County – Mountainside Estates

Governor Wolf also announced recipients of $51.4 million in PHARE funding allocated to 212 housing initiatives in 61 counties across the Commonwealth.  Twenty-seven of the successful PHARE recipients are PAHRA members, many receiving funding for multiple projects.  Due to the lengthy list, please follow the appropriate link provided below to view the PHARE projects.
