The City of Meadville Redevelopment Authority (MRDA) is seeking to hire an Executive Director.  

This position reports directly to the MRDA Board of Directors.  Position responsibilities include managing all aspects of the MRDA's operations; assuring compliance with applicable municipal, state, and federal regulations and reporting requirements; establishing quantifiable objectives and maintaining MRDA performance at or above approved fiscal and operating metrics; facilitating cooperative and productive relationships with applicable economic development, governmental, private sector, and funding agencies; managing and directing the activities of the MRDA staff; developing and achieving strategic objectives; managing the Authority's loan programs, managing the Authority's real estate holdings; submitting annual City of Meadville CDBG applications and administering CDBG programs; administering the Authority's slum and blight clearance program; sourcing applicable grant and other program funding opportunities. 

Requirements include a bachelor's degree in Business Management, Marketing, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Public Administration, or equivalent public or private sector experience.  A minimum of five years' experience in a line management leadership position is required.  Superior leadership, time management, organizational, and written and oral communication skills are required.  Grant sourcing and administration experience is preferred.  Private sector leadership, entrepreneurial, and/or business ownership experience is also preferred.
