SEEKING DEPUTY DIRECTOR

Berks County Redevelopment Authority is a 57 year old public sector agency engaged in the development / redevelopment of projects that promote the economic growth, eliminate or prevent blight, and develop affordable housing in Berks County.  The Authority's activities include: 

1) administration of federal, state, and local grants; 

2) serving as a conduit for tax-exempt financing; and 

3) management of housing and commercial units. 

The Deputy Director will initially be responsible for assisting the Executive Director in leading the activities of the Authority with the potential of succeeding to the position of Executive Director in several years based on an evaluation of abilities and performance.  Undergraduate degree with a minimum of 5 years of experience in land development, project management, or administration of federal or state grant requirements.
