HUD has awarded nearly $315 million to 46 cities and localities across 30 states to support efforts to address unsheltered and rural homelessness. These awards will be used to fund a variety of activities, such as outreach to people experiencing unsheltered homelessness, case management and housing navigation, short- and long-term rental assistance, and new permanent housing with enhanced behavioral health services.
Congratulations to our Eastern Pennsylvania Continuum of Care (CoC), which received $3,960,165 to fund efforts to prevent and end homelessness and keep those in need housed.
HUD encourages grantees to use these awards to support partnerships that include healthcare organizations, public housing agencies, HUD-assisted housing providers, and people with lived experience. HUD intends to allocate nearly $43 million to fund housing vouchers to all awarded communities. View the detailed list of awardees here.
