Best Wishes to Former PAHRA President Senghor Manns in New Role

PAHRA extends our sincere and warmest wishes to former President Senghor Manns as he takes the helm as President & CEO of Lucas Metropolitan Housing (LMH) in Toledo, Ohio effective August 12.

Mr. Manns currently holds the position of President & CEO of Harrisburg Housing Authority, a “best in class” agency serving more than 5,000 residents.  Senghor held the office of PAHRA President for the 2016-2018 term, and was a valued member of the PAHRA Board of Directors from 2010-2019.

During his tenure, Senghor embodied true professionalism, character, and compassion that has benefitted both our membership and those we serve.

LMH Board Chair Alisha Gant states, “Senghor is uniquely qualified to lead LMH to accomplish its goals and objectives based on his impeccable qualifications, experience and background. We are confident he will provide our Lucas County communities with the highest level of service and guidance.”  Approximately 17,500 people reside in LMH properties.

HARIE Accepting Applications for 2024 Safety Improvement Grants

The Housing and Redevelopment Insurance Exchange (HARIE) encourages its insureds to apply for the 7th Annual Safety Improvement Grant program.  Applications are due by August 23, 2024.  Purpose of the grants is to assist insureds in improving safety measures and operations to prevent property or safety losses.  $60,000 will be awarded, with recipients to be announced in October 2024.
